Electronics and Communication Engineering

The department is supported by a highly qualified team comprising:

• 30 faculty members, including 8 Ph.D. holders
• 6 laboratory and technical staff

To promote research, skill development, and industry alignment, the department hosts four active Centers of Excellence in the following areas:

1. 6G Communication
2. Internet of Things (IoT)
3. Space Technology
4. VLSI / Semiconductor

To keep pace with industry demands, the department:

• Has signed multiple MoUs with industry and research organizations
• Promotes internships, hands-on projects, and industrial visits
• Regularly organizes guest lectures, workshops, and skill-building sessions in collaboration with practitioners from industry and academia

The department actively engages students through professional bodies such as:

• IEEE Student Branch
• IETE Student Forum

These platforms help students build technical competence, leadership ability, and teamwork, while encouraging participation in hackathons, innovation contests, and conferences.
